Q: Is there a difference between pool fence companies?

A: Yes, company history, service and quality of materials separate Baby Guard from the rest. Baby Guard is a national company servicing all major areas of the country that have lots of swimming pools.  This means that your local Baby Guard distributor has the backing and support of the manufacturer. Baby Guard has been operating in the central Florida market since the 1990's, many of our "competitors", if honest, would have to describe their company history in terms of months rather than in years when describing their service to the local community.

Our service is second to none, our corporate office demands it and our ownership demands it. Our materials, as described throughout this website, are of the highest quality available in the industry. Think about it, why would other upstart pool fence companies open up with similar names (they can use Guard or Baby, but not Baby Guard), similar claims, similar advertisements, etc.  Because they know Baby Guard has a great reputation and they hope to emulate our success.  As they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Q: How do I know that Baby Guard is a reliable company?

A: We have been operating in this market with the same name and same phone number since our inception. If you were to check the yellow pages from five years ago and compare it to the current yellow pages you would see Baby Guard with the same phone number five years ago as today.  Not many pool fence companies can make that claim.  Also, you can check out our listing with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org.

Q: Once my fence is up why should I care if the company is reliable or not?

A: Over the years, we at Baby Guard have seen all kinds of examples of why this is important, here are just a few: We have seen families that have purchased pool fences, only to see them begin to deteriorate after a year or two resulting in them having to buy another pool fence when they find the original company is no longer in business.

We have seen people receive damage to their fence from say a wild lawn man with a weed eater, a fallen tree limb, etc.  Then they need a replacement section of fence but their original company is no longer around.  We go out and unfortunately can not match the replacement section to the remaining fence and the homeowner now has a fence with two different materials.

We have seen homeowners purchase a fence, then call the fence company for service only to find the phone number is no longer valid.  Then they look in the phone book and find someone selling the same brand of fence under a different company name but that company says they will not honor the warranty because they did not originally sell the person the fence.

It is important to remember that Baby Guard has been in business with the same name and phone number since its inception.  Further, there is only one Baby Guard representative for this area, and if they left for any reason, the next Baby Guard representative would have to keep the same phone number and honor the warranty for all Baby Guard fences

Q: Would my Baby Guard fence be installed by a Baby Guard employee?

A: Yes, all Baby Guard fences are installed by highly trained Baby Guard employees, no subcontractors are ever used.

Q: Does a Baby Guard fence cost more than other fence companies?

A: It is hard to keep track of other fence company pricing, they seem to change day by day. Our price has been the same for several years and we believe it is a fair price. If you obtain a written estimate and it is lower than our price, we will match the lower price. We want to ensure that all families purchase a quality fence from a reliable company.
